Winter Maintenance for Terminal Crimping Machines
Winter Maintenance for Terminal Crimping Machines
Daily Maintenance
- Lubrication: The terminal crimping machine‘s stamping guide rail should be lubricated every 1-2 hours. The oiling hole is located at the top of the machine. Add 2-3 drops of oil each time to avoid over-lubrication.
- Cleaning: Operators should clean the machine daily to remove dirt, dust, and excess oil from the machine’s surface.
Weekly Maintenance
- Bearing Lubrication:
- Open the terminal machine’s rear cover.
- Remove the snap ring of the driven pulley.
- Remove the pulley.
- Apply grease evenly to the surface of the high-speed bearing.
- Reassemble (Note: Pay attention to prevent the loss of bearing balls during pulley removal.)
The Importance of Terminal Blocks
Terminal blocks play a crucial role in power electronics connections. Whenever internal equipment needs to be connected to external equipment within a panel, special terminal blocks are used. These terminal blocks, when combined, form a terminal block assembly. The primary function of a terminal block assembly is to connect the circuits of internal and external equipment, facilitating the transmission of information (current and voltage). Terminal blocks offer several advantages, including:
- Aesthetics: They enhance the appearance of the connection.
- Ease of Maintenance: They simplify maintenance procedures.
- Reliability: They ensure secure connections, especially over long distances.
- Installation: They make installation and maintenance convenient.
