Maintaining a smooth workflow with your automated ribbon cutting machine is essential. Here’s a breakdown of some frequent problems you might encounter, along with troubleshooting steps to get you back on track.
Power Issues:
No Power Display: Check the fuse for damage. Replace it with a fuse of the same rating if necessary.
Feeding and Cutting Issues:
Continuous Cutting Without Feeding: This could be caused by a misaligned proximity switch. Adjust the switch closer to the sensing screw. If the problem persists, the proximity switch or the machine casing might be faulty.
No Action When Start Button is Pressed:
Verify that the pre-cut length and quantity settings are correct.
If the pre-cut quantity matches the actual cut quantity, reset the counter to zero.
In case the above steps don’t resolve the issue, the machine casing might malfunction.
Inability to Cut Ribbon During Hot Cutting:
Inspect the blade for damage. Sharpen or replace it if necessary.
Check the lower cutting pad for groove depth. Replace it if the groove is too deep.
Verify the ammeter reading. If power is low, replace the heating copper.
