Phenomena and Solutions in the Stripping Process of Automatic Wire Cutter Stripper Machine

I. Unable to Strip Wire Ends

Check the cutting depth of the wire cutter stripper machine. If the cut is too shallow, adjust the wire diameter parameter accordingly.

The pressure of the feeding wheel is insufficient. Adjust the air pressure.

There may be dirt on the feeding wheel. Clean it thoroughly.

The retraction parameters may be set too large or too small.

Check if the air supply is normal.

II. Unable to Strip Wire Tails

Check the cutting depth of the wire tail. If the cut is too shallow, adjust the wire diameter parameter smaller.

The wire clamp is not tight enough. Increase the air pressure.

The retraction parameters may be set too large or too small.

Check if the air supply is normal.

III. Severe Wire Damage

Determine whether the pressure marks come from the feeding wheel or the wire stripping clamp, then reduce the air pressure accordingly.
IV. Several Wire Cores Cut When Stripping Wire Ends

Increase the wire diameter value until the wire cores are no longer damaged.
V. Inconsistent Lengths, Actual Length ≥ Set Length

The pressure of the feeding wheel is insufficient, occasionally causing wire ends to remain unstripped.

The feeding wheels are dirty and need cleaning.

The gap between feeding wheels is too large, or adjust the air pressure.

Excessive pressure from the straightener causes wire pulling (or the wire reel is stuck).

Inconsistent wire thickness.

VI. Wire Ends and Tails are Cut Off

The wire diameter is too small, so adjust the wire diameter parameter accordingly.
VII. Wire Ends or Tails are Sometimes Cut Off

The wire diameter value is too small, increase the wire diameter.
VIII. Wires are Occasionally Not Cut and Remain Connected

The wires may exceed the specified range.

The speed may be too fast (when stripping thicker wires, slow down the speed).

The tools may lack lubrication oil.

The blades may be dull and require replacement or sharpening.

IX. Wire Clamp Unable to Hold Wires or Wire Ends Collide with Clamp

Adjust the wire guide plate or replace it with a guide tube that matches the wire.
